September Marks a Month of Children’s Charitable Events
“To make a difference in the lives of children, we must believe,” extolled Sandy Segerstrom Daniels to the more than 400 people who gathered at the kickoff event for this year’s Festival of Children Foundation. Now in its 11th year, the foundation provides services and support for more than 75 local children’s charities. Throughout the month of September, the Festival of Children will present more than 100 children’s events and activities in and around South Coast Plaza. Sandy Segerstrom Daniels clearly believes in the future of our children, and has helped these nonprofits change children’s lives and shape our communities. —C.S.
