Second Annual Laguna Style Event at Montage Laguna Beach Raises Funds for SchoolPower and Laguna Playhouse
Ready-to-wear fashion rocked the runway on Oct. 13 at Montage Laguna Beach, when Firebrand Media Inc. hosted its second annual Laguna Style event, benefitting the Laguna Playhouse and SchoolPower, a nonprofit that supports public schools in Laguna Beach. Guests gathered at the courtyard entrance for a silent auction as well as to view informal modeling which showed off jewelry and clothing from South Coast Plaza’s luxury retailers including Mikimoto and Max Mara. There was also a reception with appetizers by Montage Laguna Beach chefs. Cocktails from Altamar Brands were made to guests’ whim and fancy, and wine was provided by The Wine Gallery. Afterward, guests enjoyed a runway show in the ballroom, starting with an elegant showcase of lingerie by La Perla followed by designs by Mikimoto, Max Mara and Saks Fifth Avenue. – A.T.
